World Kitchens Jerky RIP

As usually happens, when a monopoly buys up a jerky company to "maintain control of the competition"........that company sometimes (usually) is never the same....

When Jack Links bought World Kitchens, they *should have* brought to to this company stability in issues controlled by others. In other words, this year, when the USDA shut down all import from Brazil, they should have been able to move the production to one of their many stateside plants, not miss a lick, and move on.
Well, they tried, but many "licks missed later", have abandoned the concept, in order to keep their Jack Links product line going. They quickly found they did not have the flexibility to make such a move. But to be honest, the ICE raid in ~May removing several hundred illegals from the production facilities in the mid west may have contributed to the problem.
So, the "Brazillian Beef Jerky project" goes by the wayside, with a slow painful death, with the "braintrust" in charge of World Kitchens looking like a deer in the headlights.....World Kitchens has not had any solid production for over six month at this writing, and is starting to look like that will be they way they are going to leave this one......

End of an era..........
